Welcome to Suffern United Methodist Church

All are welcome at Suffern UMC–this means everyone, regardless of age, race, marital status, sexual orientation, financial status, or political views. You are welcome if you have already given your life to Christ or if you haven’t. We welcome hearts full of faith and heads full of questions. We welcome ALL who are hungry for the deepest life found in surrender and service to God.

Grow in Christ

Following Christ can be hard! We believe in the power of friends helping one another live into the life God would have them live. At Suffern UMC, we strengthen our families, seeking to grow the faith of our youngest babies to our oldest members. If you are looking for a supportive community to help you grow in your faith, Suffern UMC is the place.

Serving Others

We believe that faith in Christ means serving our community. Suffern UMC strives to make a difference by helping those in need. We are blessed in our capacity to help and lift others through prayer, supporting the Ecuminecal Soup Kitchen and Food Pantries, organizing and distributing Food Drives for CUMAC and local food pantries in Suffern, Sloatsburg and West Nyack and School Supply Drive for the local elementary school and partnering with local organizations on many other fronts.

We have long been a part of this community and have a heart for reaching out in love and service to our neighbors. Whoever you are, wherever you've been, and wherever you are on the journey... there's a place here for you!
